They came marching through the corn field as part of a covert operations to investigate rumors of strange happenings in the corn field.
They found “tassel ears.” That is kernels of corn in the tassel.
Then they found the “gems.” Yes, the colorful Glass Gem Corn drying on the stalks which should be ready in several weeks.
Then they meet their maker as the jaws of death, my son’s fingers, destroyed them! Unfortunately, not before they gave my wife a scare 😦
